Everything that exists is now. The Life Integration Process (LIP) according to Wilfried Nelles is a new form of therapeutic work using constellations. Two things are new about it: First, unlike family or systemic constellations, it is not about relationships with other people or one's place and role in a system, but solely about the individual person and their inner attitude/relationship to themselves. Second, fixed positions are assigned to the representatives in an LIP constellation. These positions result from Wilfried Nelles' theory of the development of human consciousness and the (seven) stages of life and consciousness described therein. The LIP is based on the insight that our life, with everything that has happened in it, is completely without alternative, and that in this sense everything is "right" as it is and as it was. Second, it follows the understanding that the past—except in our minds—does not exist. The past is what has passed, and when it has passed, it no longer exists. The past only burdens us to the extent that we (often unconsciously, for example, as a result of trauma) haven't realized deep down that it's over, or we attach meaning to it because we don't want to let it go. Therefore, the entire focus of the work lies in the present. We do look at earlier stages of life (the time in the womb, childhood, and adolescence), but only in the sense of remembering what arises (that is, accepting it without any alteration). The cause of our problems is not seen in the events themselves, but solely in how we relate to them now. Life Integration Processing (LIP) is often seen as a new or special "systemic constellation format." While it is that, it's only the surface. For our lives to truly settle and integrate into our consciousness, a certain attitude toward life is necessary: respect for all forms and expressions of life, including and especially those that are painful or terrifying to us. This attitude and its communication are the heart (or soul) of LIP. In individual coaching, I essentially make myself available as a coach and take on the different roles of your LIP's life stages.
